Hello, I was born, "in a litle house on the praire", during the "Dirty Thirties"In NW Sherman Co. NE.
My first stage appearance was at the age of four
Music has always been a part of my life..
Playing Guitar since the age of 9. and have played and sang in numerous bands since High School Days.
I do a wide variety of Old Songs and Ballads, Gospel, as well as origional Songs and Poems.
The Old West Days, Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering at Valentine NE. has become an Important stop on my schedule. I have hosted and perform in several sessions at the Montana State Poetry Gathering in Lewistown, Montana, Also, The Arizona Cowboy Music Symposium Tucson, AZ. In 2006 I did an interview for Reuters news, On Cowboy Poetry and Music. beamed around the world by satelight, and was on their Entertainment Web Site for abt. 6 weeks. After reciting one of my poems, Tumbleweed was hung on me by an MC at one of my performances and it stuck. I have been "Tumbleweed" ever since.
The "Old West Days" Nebraska Cowboy Poetry Gathering at Valentine NE, has become an Important stop on my schedule. ( Oct 1997-2011 )
In 2002 I was priviledged to be asked to ride on the Nebrasks Humanities Council float in the "Old West Days Parade.
